John Steed is a character from The Avengers 1960s (Franchise) who is playable in LEGO Dimensions.


Background[]

Armed with only his Steel Bowler Hat, Trusty Sword Umbrella, Bulletproof Waistcoat and his Bentley , Steed is one of Britan's most famous and stylish spies who solves mysteries and conspiracies. His boss is Mother who is head of the Ministry where he works. Steed lives in an Apartment on the outskirts of London.

Trivia[]

  • He was played in both The Avengers and The New Avengers by Sir Patrick Macnee who reprises his role in the game.
  • Archive Audio taken from carefully selected episodes is used for him due to Macnee's death from old age in 2015 which was also a couple of months before the game was even announced and created.
  • In the 1998 film flop he was played by Ralph Fiennes who also played Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter.
  • In the original Series 1 of The Avengers, Steed's role was different and he was the assistant of Dr. David Keel .
  • Also in the 1998 film flop, Patrick Macnee played a parody of the Invisible man called Invisible Jones but only as a voiceover although his silhouetto is briefly seen on a projector.
  • Macnee also played Sir Godfrey Tibbet in the 1985 Roger Moore James Bond movie "A View To A Kill".
  • He was also Sir John Raleigh in Return Of The Man From Uncle.
